Ben Tippett is the senior pastor at Victory Christian, and his wife Helen stands beside him! Rev.Benton M. Tippett grew up in Nashville, Tennessee where he attended public school and graduated from East Nashville High in June of 1954. He later attended the Assemblies of God College in Wayahachie, Texas and the University of Tennessee, school of religion . In June of 1958 he began his pastoral ministry and was assigned to the pastorate of the Bordeaux Assembly of God in Nashville. In 1961 he became pastor of the Waverly Assembly of God in Nashville and in 1962 moved to Southington, Connecticut to pastor the Calvary Assembly of God. Also in 1962 Pastor Ben was ordained in Springfield, Massachusetts. Throughout his ministry he has led churches through major building programs and was the founder of two of those churches, Faith Christian Fellowship in Bertrand, Missouri, and in October 1996, planted Victory Christian Fellowship , located in East Palatka, Florida, near San Mateo. Pastor Tippett has been very active in the communities and in the denomination in which he served. He served as a youth and men's representative, and assistant presbyter with the Assemblies. He currently serves on the Board of Directors, and is chairman of the Board of Elders for IMF. He is also active in his local Ministerial alliance, serves on a Christian Service Board, and as a chaplain for the Sheriff's department.
